I liked this image because the girls dress blends well with the ground and im not sure if shes standing on water or her dress looks like the ocean but it looks really nice and caught my attention because of the dress.
This image also caught my attention because even though the back and the guys outfit are two different colors the blue outfit pops out well and I also liked that the guys reflection was really noticeable and easy to take a glance of the actual subject
I really liked this image because it’s very casual and does not need much editing and the outfits match the personalities of the subject.
NATIONAL GEO MAGAZINE REVIEW
This was one of my favorite covers because there are so many colors combined. I also like this image because it is a view of the city of Hollywood and sort of an idea of what it looks like and the type of traffic that happens in LA.
I like this cover because it is interesting and it makes you wonder what could be going on in this boys mind. Based off of the clothing the boy is wearing it looks like he is borrowing a coat or jacket from an older man to keep him. This cover image is very interesting because it makes you question what is going on in this child’s life or what could he be thinking in his own head.
This cover was also one of my favorites because the water looks well edited to make it look neat and very visible and the trees surrounding the waterfall make the waterfall stand out even more.
GEORGIA O’KEEFE WRITING CRITIQUE
This image was my favorite artwork that Georgia O’Keefe created because it looks very realistic and eye catching. i liked that the colors are blended well together and there isn’t much of an outline look like everything is blended giving it kind of a gradient look. In my opinion I find O’Keefe’s artwork is interesting because when I look at her images they sort of remind me of watercolor painting and everything was done handmade and painted herself.
CULTURAL IDENTITY
Having a Quinceanera/Sweet 16 is something that we celebrate as a Mexican tradition to show/celebrate that once you turn 15 you are turning into a young women and are close to becoming an adult and aren’t such a little girl anymore.
Reading books of quotes is something I see as part of my cultural identity because reading quotes is something I’ve always been into and whenever I would read a quote it would effect me or I would relate to them so much. I would see and think about my life relating to a quote and would look back at my life in the past and then think about how or what my life will be like in the future and how it could be different.
Tacos are part of my cultural identity in this image they could be called tacos but they’re called quesabirrias and what that is meat and cheese combined together I know most people from Mexico have tried this type of food and usually tacos are what is easy to make and when a party is being thrown the first thing that Mexicans would think of are tacos.

In high-contrast conditions, HDR in Camera can help you get nice images. HDR photography is useful when photographing the sun at sunrise or sunset. It’s ideal for taking pictures in the middle of the day. Use it to capture architecture or man-made objects, as HDR brings out the finer details of craftsmanship. iPhone takes a series of shots at different exposures in rapid succession and blends them together to add more highlight and shadow detail to your photos. The lower the ISO on your camera, the less noise there will be in your photograph. Noise and grainy photos are common outcomes of HDR photography. Although some of this can be corrected in post-production, it’s easier to start with a lower ISO. Use a tripod if you don’t have a tripod you can always improvise of course and set the camera on something solid so that it doesn’t move while it’s taking pictures.
